I stumbled upon this gem on my way to the beach, and I must say, this pancake was a one of a kind experience from the freshness of the ingredients to the perfect balance of flavor. Pair it with a cold iced coffee, and you’ve got yourself a meal to think about for days. Not to mention the lovely vibe from the soothing bossa nova music to the friendliness of the staff. If you visit Cape Town and find yourself around Sea Point, this place is a must-visit for breakfast or brunch any time of the year.
Incredibly disappointed. We were looking for a good patisserie and the selection at this café was inadequate. In addition to having travelled a long distance for nothing, the hostess/till lady was very unhelpful. Please remove images/reviews that no longer align with what is actually in your store.
Good experience at Coco Safar on a cool Public holiday. Unfortunately, they were out of a lot of things in their menu and the employee did apologise. This was fine as we had ordered their coffees. However, the coffee didn't arrive with the baked treat so that was disappointing
Popped into Coco Safar today with my mom and wow — what a treat! She’s been talking about that croissant non-stop since we left. Special shoutout to the manager who made us feel like VIPs — warm, friendly, and super accommodating. Honestly, if they’d offered us a blanket and a pillow, we might’ve moved in. Also, I don’t know what some of these negative reviews are on about — we had an amazing time. Great food, lovely vibe, and genuinely top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back — or at least my mom will, even if she has to crawl there for another croissant.
This place was amazing and we will be back for dinner to try out their dinner menu and cocktails! We got the avocado toast and it was the best avo toast I’ve had in my liiiiiife. Great coffee (even comes with a pallet cleanser), beautiful service and the vibes are there - very cosy. We also got a take away hazelnut praline croissant to try later.
